During a recent webinar held on Thursday March 16, 2006 Bellwether laid out its product development Road Map with four scheduled releases and their proposed content.

Release of Version 4.8 – Scheduled for Release by 06/30/2006 will include the following enhancements:

  • Web- Enabled Requisition Module – May 30, 2006 Addendum to (V.4.7.3W)
  • SMTP E-mail Authentication (V4.8)
  • Active Directory Support (V4.8)
    • Message to change password every XX days
    • Check at least six generations of passwords for each Userid
    • XX number of tries before security lock out occurs
    • Passwords to be encrypted vs scrambled
    • Passwords to be changed my end user
  • History of the pricing for various vendors (V4.8)
  • Receiving Module -- Option to receive all items associated with a
    particular job or project. (V4.8)
  • Requisitioning Module -- Import a Build of Materials into the
    requisitioning module from existing custom quoting system. (V4.8)
  • Display multiple vendor's price per item (V4.8)
  • Ability to budget by General Ledger or Project Number (V4.8)
  • RFQ Module -- Select all vendors by commodity type when creating
    RFQs, but add the option to "mass select" them (CTRL-Click) rather than just selecting them one at a time. (V4.8)
  • RFQ Module -- Convert all vendor responses from a RFQ to a PO. (V4.8)
  • RFQ Module -- Job and project sort options & selection ranges in the RFQ report. (V4.8)

Release of Version 4.9 – Scheduled for Release by 09/30/2006 will include the following enhancements:

  • Change to provide a warning if accumulated release amount exceeds
    the Upper Dollar Amount using a percentage variance on the control (V4.9)
  • The Requisition Status Inquiry screen currently does to have the
    logic built in it to track the status change from a RFQ to a PO.  All the
    keys are updated correctly, and these keys will be set to be accessed by the requisition Status Inquiry Program  (v4.9)
  • Select multiple items from catalogues for REQs (V4.9)
  • All-IN-One printer support (PDF) (V4.9)

Release of Version 5.0 – Scheduled for Release by 12/31/2006 will include the following enhancements:

  • Email on Approval/Order/Receipt (V5.0)
  • Convert RFQ quote into a REQ  (V5.0)
  • Requisition Module Multi Line  (V5.0)
  • Ability to create a REQ send out to create an RFQ get best Price
    and then fill REQ line items and then go through Approval process  (V5.0)
  • URL/REQ number in notification email that alerts an approver  (V5.0)
  • Requisition Proxy Approval  (V5.0)
  • Attach Document to a REQ (V5.0)

Release of Version 5.6 – Scheduled for Release by 6/30/2008 will include the following enhancements:

  • New Version of PMX that is Completely a Web-Based Product to be delivered at the end of 2Q2007
  • MySQL and PHP product platform
